Empowerment through education is a core value of HealthSET.
The HealthSET mission statement is to enhance the professional and personal development of learners by providing programmes which are enriching and transformational.
HealthSET's teaching philosophy is based and inspired by Paulo Friere (1921-1997) a Theorist in adult education who believed in the empowerment of students. He believed education is a two-way learning process between teacher and learners.
HealthSET promotes these principles and integrates education with real world experiences.
HealthSET is dedicated to providing learners with the necessary skill-set, knowledge base and self-confidence to deliver informed and high quality healthcare, based on best practice guidelines.
